A group of Canadian men have set up a new website called Viagra Australia, after they received a warning letter from the Australian government about the possible health risk of Viagra.
The website was set up to inform men that the drug, marketed as a treatment for impotence, is also being prescribed to treat the symptoms of heart disease, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, and some cancers. The new site will be called “Viagra Australia”.
The warning letter was sent to more than 30,000 men across the country who had not taken the drug. They said their chances of receiving Viagra were “very slim”. But the warning letter did not mention the use of the drug.
The men had been diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart disease. Their doctor had prescribed Viagra to the men.
“The men were advised that it is dangerous to take Viagra,” the group told The Sun newspaper.
They also asked that they be careful what they prescribe, as the website “does not always contain all the information required to make an informed decision on the use of any medication.”
“The men were advised that the warning letter did not mention the use of Viagra, and they were advised to consult with their doctor before taking Viagra,” it said.
The group had also been told that men who take Viagra for erectile dysfunction may be at a higher risk of having a heart attack or stroke than men who do not take the drug.
The group also had received a letter from the Department of Health, which advises men that Viagra should not be used by men who are taking nitrate-based medications, such as nitroglycerin tablets. But Viagra users were warned against taking the drug if their doctor did not prescribe it.
The letter warned that men should not take Viagra if they took nitrates, which are often used to treat angina, or when the blood pressure was already high, or when they had chest pain.
In a statement, the Department of Health said the men should be careful what they prescribe, as the website “does not always contain all the information required to make an informed decision on the use of any medication”.
The warning letter was sent to more than 1,500 men in the UK, who had not taken Viagra, the government said.
The men said they had suffered heart attacks, strokes and other serious side effects while taking Viagra.
“The men were advised that the warning letter did not mention the use of Viagra, and they were advised to consult with their doctor before taking Viagra,” the group said.
It said it was “reviewing the safety profile of the drug”.
The men said they were “very concerned” about their health.

Viagra Australia is a “well-known” treatment for erectile dysfunction, but the study was published in the British Medical Journal in September 2022.
It was not clear whether the men took Viagra before, or if they had taken it in the past.
The men had to sign an online prescription agreement, which allows men to have Viagra without having to see a doctor.
